Immanuel had an incredible final OUA Championships as a Warrior coming away with two OUA medals and several accolades. Beginning Friday with the 60m prelims he easily took the win in his heat edging former teammate Tred Ford, tying his personal best & varsity record of 6.72 form earlier in the season to auto qualify for the semi-final rounds Saturday morning. 

In the semi-final round Onyemah ran another great race to win his heat in 6.77 ranking him as the top runner going in the 7 man final. Determined to continue his winning streak Onyemah ran to a lifetime best & new varsity record in the final defending his OUA title with a time of 6.70. Onyemah heads into the U SPORTS Championships undefeated this season. His time of 6.70 ties him as the 6th fastest male 60m runner in OUA history and ranks him 3rd in the country. With all three rounds sub 6.80 Immanuel now has the 1st-9th fastest 60m times in UW history. He aims to capture all 10 at the U SPORTS Championships.

Thirty minutes later Immanuel was back on the track with his 4x200m team running the first leg. His split time was the fastest of the Warriors and put the men in great position at the handoff. The team ran a time of 1:30.84 to win the bronze medal and head into the U SPORTS Championships ranked 7th.
