Hannah returned as the reigning OUA Pentathlon Champion from the 2020 Championships with only one colour in mind, gold! But this year she had some stiff competition from the 2017 Pan-Am Heptathlon bronze medalist now competing for the Ryerson Rams.

In a head to head competition over the five events Hannah captured many accolades along the way. Perhaps the most notable performance was in high jump where she jumped 1.74m not only surpassing her personal best by 8cm but also securing her spot in the individual high jump event at U SPORTS by achieving the auto-qualifying mark (1.71m) and surpassed the previous OUA Pent High Jump record (1.72m) but placed second so does not hold the new record. Hannah and the Ryerson athlete flip flopped on top but Hannah led the way heading into the final event, only 35 points ahead. In order to defend her title she would need to run within 2.5 second of the Rams athlete. In a very exciting race Hannah stayed close enough (1/2 second) making her the 2022 OUA Pent Champion once again in a total of 3910 points smashing her previous record (3715 points) and the U SPORTS auto qualifying standard (3722 points). Her score ranks her #1 in U SPORTS. Hannah's pent 60mH was a personal best, while the high jump (1.74m) and 800m (2:19.97) within the pent were overall huge personal bests.

Hannah's weekend didn't stop there. She also competed in the women's individual high jump competition where she placed 6th and was the fastest woman on both sprint relays teams setting a season's best team time in both the 4x200m (6th) and 4x400m (8th).

Hannah's gold in the pentathlon makes her an OUA All-Star and her jump of 1.74m in the high jump ranks her 3rd in the UW All-Time List and 4th in U SPORTS.
