Coming off a superb meet last weekend where he jumped to a 4cm PB, Solomon carried his momentum through the week into the Don Wright Team Challenge. Davidson showed poise and strength being the only competitor to clear 2.00m early in the competition. Already winning the event Davidson cleared 2.05m for a personal best and then chose to raise the bar to the USports standard height of 2.07m which he cleared on his first attempt. His jump of 2.07m not only earns him his place at the USports Championships in Edmonton but he also won the gold medal, has the second best high jump in UW history and is ranked #1 in the country!
