Immanuel Onyemah had a record breaking weekend at the Can-Am Meet in Windsor this past weekend. He opened his action on Friday night running a personal best split time of 22.2s in the 4x200m as his team ran to an overall time of 1:31.06, placing fourth. On Saturday, Onyemah made his mark among some of Canada's top sprinters, including Team Canada members in the 60m race. Onyemah cruised past the prelims and tri-final with new personal best times and went into the final ready to break the radar. Onyemah dashed his way to a new school record of 6.83s to finish in the silver medal position and auto qualify for the U SPORTS Championship in Edmonton in March. He is now ranked third in the country in the 60m race.
