In what would end being her final weekend of action with the Warriors women’s volleyball team, Claire Mackenzie (Vancouver, B.C.) capped off an illustrious career with two outstanding matches at the Quigley Cup Final Four event hosted at the PAC. In Waterloo’s hard fought semifinal loss to Toronto on Friday, Mackenzie led the Warriors with 12 kills, two aces and 11 digs. On Saturday, Mackenzie led an incredible come from behind effort, as Waterloo took out Western in five sets to claim OUA bronze. Mackenzie was unstoppable with 18 kills, adding one block, one ace and 10 digs in the win. To no one’s surprise, Mackenzie was named the Player of the Match in both contests.
