Fifth year forward Dollee Meigs (Owen Sound, Ont.) came out in the New Year with a hot stick, netting two goals in two games as Waterloo went 1-0-1 on their northern road trip. Meigs scored in the opening period of a 3-2 shootout loss to Nipissing on Friday and then followed it up with the game winner on Saturday in a 1-0 win over Laurentian to take over the team lead in goals with six.
