First year netminder Julian Sime (Mississauga, Ont.) was stellar for men’s hockey in their backend of a doubleheader with Lakehead turning aside 45 stops in a 5-3 victory on Saturday night in Thunder Bay. Sime was busy all night long and kept his Warriors in the game to secure two big points as Waterloo moved into a tie for the eighth and final playoff spot in the OUA west.
