It was a massive weekend for third baseman Stephen Whalen (Heidelberg, Ont.) as he led his Warriors to a 2-2 record against Toronto and Queen’s. The second year Recreation and Leisure student went 6-for-13 with two homeruns, three RBIs, three runs scored, three walks, and two stolen bases. Whalen was instrumental in Waterloo’s 13-5 victory over the defending OUA champions, Toronto and is now tied for the league lead in HRs with three, and is hitting .317 on the season with an OBP of .473 and OPS of 1.107.
