Second year guard Aphia Ward (Beaumont, Alta.) had her best game of her career in the black and gold on Friday night in the Battle of Waterloo. Ward put up a career high 16 points and appeared to have the tying basketball with under one minute to play with a trip to the line, but was handed a controversial charging call and the Warriors would go on to drop a hard fought contest to the visiting Golden Hawks. Ward finished the game going 6-for-14 from the field, knocking down four from beyond the arc.
