Samantha Warner (Ayr, Ont.) had two very strong weekend games against the Lakehead Thunderwolves, helping her squad sweep the visitors in both contests. Warner finished with a total of 15.5 points on 10 kills and nine blocks in the two matches while adding a service ace. Warner was especially stellar in Sunday’s victory posting a game high seven blocks as the Warriors moved to within one game of .500 with a 6-7 record.
