Fourth year quarterback Lucas McConnell (Waterford, Ont.) was a pivotal piece in Waterloo’s 28-23 Black and Gold Day victory over Toronto on Saturday afternoon.  McConnell went an impressive 18-for-25 for 191 yards in the air with one touchdown pass as the Warriors improved to 3-0 on the season.  McConnell has had a solid start to his season with 36 completions for 444 yards and has been a major factor in Waterloo’s perfect start.
