Stephanie Sluys got the call between the pipes for the OUA quarter-final series with Western and made the most of her opportunity collecting 99 saves while allowing just four goals as Waterloo won in three games.  In the opening game on Thursday night, Sluys stopped 39 of 41 shots in a 3-2 overtime win.  The following night in London, Sluys was again busy allowing just two goals on 31 shots but the black and gold came up just short in overtime. In the decisive game 3 on Sunday afternoon, Sluys was perfect, making 31 saves for the shutout as Waterloo blanked Western 2-0.  Sluys finished the three game series with a .961 save percentage and goals against average of just 1.17.  This is the first time in program history that the Warriors have advanced past the first round.
