This past weekend Jörg Ahne competed at the University of Guelph Last Chance Meet as a final tune up before the OUA Championships. On his 4th attempt in the long jump, Ahne had a brilliant effort, leaping to a new varsity of 7.26m while capturing the gold medal. This new distance now ranks Ahne second in the U SPORTS rankings, just 4cm off of the top spot.
