Rookie pitcher Sam Goindi (Elora, Ont.) was a rock on the mound for the Warriors baseball team when they needed it the most.  Goindi pitched a complete game in Waterloo’s 6-3 win over McMaster in game 2 in Hamilton and then picked up the save on Sunday in Waterloo against Queen’s as the Warriors clinched a post-season berth, topping the Gaels 6-5 in their final game of the season.
