Naomi Lance (Kitchener, Ont.) displayed the true meaning of a Warrior at the OUA Championship this past weekend in Windsor.  Battling a nagging hamstring injury, Lance fought through the pain, running her way to a silver medal in the 300m race in a new personal best time of 39.53.  Lance’s time ties her with Olympian Heather Moyse for third fastest in UW history and moves her into fourth place heading into the CIS Championships (March 10-12), where she will be a medal contender.  Lance also posted the fastest split time in the women’s 4x200m relay where the team placed fifth and are ranked 10th going into the CIS Champs.
