Claire Mackenzie (North Vancouver, B.C.) had an outstanding weekend for the women’s volleyball team as the Warriors went 1-1 in competition with Nipissing and York.  She was the go to player for Waterloo all weekend and proved to be a difference maker in Waterloo’s 3-2 win on Sunday over the Lions.  In that match, the second year recreation and leisure student collected 13.5 points on 11 kills, three blocks and one service ace.  Mackenzie was also a defensive juggernaut with 17 digs in the victory.
