Melanie Mitchell (Glen Morris, Ont.) had a dominate weekend against Algoma, scoring 5 goals in 2 matches against the Thunderbirds for the Warriors. Mitchell, recently moved into an attacking striker role, has paid dividends in helping the Warriors go 2-0 (by a combined score of 13-2) over the weekend and continuing a three game winning streak. The 2nd year Hydrogeology major was a crucial factor in keeping the Warriors playoff hopes alive and will be relied on heavily to close out the season.
