In her last competition as a Warrior Chantel Pilon (Trenton, Ont.) impressed many at the CIS Championship in Edmonton achieving a new varsity record in the pentathlon with 3494 points to finish fifth overall while earning Waterloo seven championship points.  Pilon was in 12th spot heading into the final event (800m) and put together a stellar time of 2:18.00 to move up seven spots.  Pilon continued her success into day three of the championship leading the 4x400m women’s relay team to a Waterloo record and sixth place with a time of 3:50.90 battering the old record by nearly one second set back in 2002.
