In one of the most exciting weekends in Waterloo men’s volleyball history, James Evans (Rockwood, Ont.) emerged as the go-to offensive threat in back-to-back victories posting 34 kills.  On Friday night at the PAC, the fifth year left side was unstoppable with a staggering 21 kills compared to only six errors as the No. 9 Warriors handed the No. 1 McMaster Marauders their first loss of the season in a thrilling 5-set victory.  Evans also contributed defensively with seven digs and two blocks in the upset.  On Saturday afternoon, Evans continued his offensive tear with 13 more kills on only 19 attempts for a kill percentage of 63.2 with only one error as Waterloo got past Guelph in straight sets.
