Second year forward Carolyn Burke (Mississauga, Ont.) put the Warriors on her back in two must-win home games this weekend netting four of Waterloo’s seven goals as Waterloo defeated UOIT and York.  In Saturday’s contest against UOIT, Burke scored both goals in highlight reel fashion as Waterloo got past the stingy Ridgebacks 2-1.  On Sunday, Burke continued with the hot stick scoring two more goals and once again potting the game winner as the Warriors cruised past York 5-0 to give the black and gold four important points in the OUA standings.
