Second year member of the women’s cross country team Kristen Marchant (Newmarket, Ont.) had an impressive showing at the CIS Championship finishing 19th overall, the best Waterloo finish at nationals in over five years.  Marchant ran the 6km race in a time of 22.28 and was only nine seconds off of earning a spot on the all-Canadians list.
