Fifth year middle Tyler Motherwell (Toronto) was a major factor in Waterloo’s 3-1 win over the Guelph Gryphons in their home opener on Saturday afternoon.  The management engineering student put away 12 kills on only 19 attempts for a kill percentage of 47.4%.  His efficient attacking was paired with a strong performance at the service line with four aces while also having a presence at the net with six blocks in the win.  Motherwell and his Warriors are off to a hot start at 4-1 on the season, good for a tie for first in the OUA.
