In Waterloo’s triumphant 23-22 victory over the York Lions on Saturday, first year defensive back Harrison Mair (Vancouver, BC) put together a tremendous sixty minutes of football.  Mair was instrumental in the backfield for the Warriors with six tackles in the game including several key open field shutdowns.  Mair also had two interceptions with one coming in the dying seconds of the game as the Lions pressed to take the lead but were denied by Mair who made the pick in the Warrior end zone to preserve the one-point victory.  Mair who played basketball for the Warriors last season has emerged as one of the top DB’s for the Warriors this season.
