• played two and a half season before a sudden death while with the Warriors on an exhibition trip to Florida January, 1975
• occupies number 5 on the list of all time scorers at time of induction
• holds the record for most points in a game, 52
• one of only three players to have their numbers retired (53)
• was a member of Canada's National team
• as a tribute to Mike the Warriors introduced only four players the rest of the season, the season in which UW won its first CIAU Championships
