• Graduated with a B. Sc. In Honours Kinesiology in 1983.
• Led the Athenas to two OWIAA bronze medals.
• Captain of the Athenas for two out of her four years.
• Karen was named MVP in 1983.
• President of the Women's Intercollegiate Council and Athletics Advisory Board from 1981-1983.
• Completed her Masters of Education in Administrative Studies at Brock University.
At the time of induction, Karen was the Director of Campus Recreation at Brock University.
